Secretary’s Message

Congratulations to team IOPA for initiating a forum for an emerging speciality managing complex, painful conditions of the head and neck region. A specialty with an integrated approach in understanding various clinical manifestations has brought about a major breakthrough in this field . This initiative broadens the scope of managing multiple non-odontogenic causes of pain in the head and neck region. I am grateful to our teachers and to our team for undergoing rigorous training to become the torch bearers of this specialty .It dwells deep into the pathophysiology and evidence-based management of pain in an intricate level. I request each and every dentist to be a part of this association to excel in the day-to- day practice of managing orofacial pain.
